Lunaphore Technologies is a young start-up company active in the field of in vitro
diagnostics, developing a product based on a microfluidic technology to analyze tumor
samples. In order to validate our technology, we aim at developing novel IHC assay on
tumor tissue sections. The project takes part of a R&D collaboration with a leading company
in the industry. We seek a highly motivated candidate to join us at EPFL Innovation Park and
contribute directly to the development and growth of the company.
Develop and optimize IHC assays on tissue samples using Lunaphore’s
Perform repeatability and reproducibility tests on the optimized protocols.
Understand thoroughly all the technical aspects of the prototype in order to
become autonomous when troubleshooting.
Analyze the results in tight collaboration with the external collaborators and
report periodically to the Lunaphore team.
Write scientific publications using the outcome of the study.
You have a M. Sc. degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering or a
You have +3 years’ hands-on experience in immunohistochemistry (IHC)/
immunofluorescence (IF) on tissue sections and microscopy.
You are comfortable in troubleshooting and directly interacting with the
instrument in case of technical issues.
You have good knowledge in data analysis and image processing.
You are willing to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the
