Executive Vice President Global Sales (f/m)
In this position, your main goal is to expand our international footprint and strengthen our market position. You are responsible for the retention and development of the existing customer base and the acquisition of new customers in our strategic markets Switzerland, Germany and USA. You report directly to the CEO. As a member of the Extended Executive Board, you are closely involved in shaping the overall strategy as well as the long-term growth plan of the company. Open Systems has a revenue of CHF 40 Mio. You are based in our headquarters in Zurich, but are willing to travel for in-person meetings with team and customers to build and develop key relationships.
- Develop and implement sales strategy, according to overall strategy and targets
- Define optimal sales force structure, hire and develop sales staff. Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs
- Define and implement sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes
- Lead sales team, sales development and sales back-office to reach sales targets
- Define and coordinate sales training programs. Create a culture of success and become an employer of choice for top sales people
- Contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction, manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
- Monitor customer and prospect interactions, track sales success and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
- Plan and implement sales campaigns in collaboration with Product Marketing and Corporate Communications
Qualifications and experience
- 10-year sales experience in service sales (preferable IT) with a strong engineering background
- Proven track record of building and leading an international sales team
- Experience in scaling a sales organization and developing international markets
- Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and result oriented
- Experience in cloud services is your priceless advantage
- Fluency in English and German, or the willingness to learn the latter
